How we see the industry

Steelmaking and foundry work are not heading into a quiet period. In Europe the cost of carbon now enters the calculation, and buyers ask for the emissions data of every lot. As electric arc furnaces take a larger share, alloy additions, size ranges and analysis are being worked out more precisely than ever.

That changes what a supplier is expected to bring. Finding the material is no longer enough; the right analysis, complete paperwork and a lead time you can plan around have to come together. The last few years showed all of us how fragile single-source supply chains can be.

This is why we are building Arsam Metal as a trading house that draws on more than one source, lets its documents do the talking and weighs every promise before making it. Our aim is not to be the biggest name, but the one our customers can rely on in their production plan.
